Registered since 2008 , as quoted from Tech Crunch , Thursday ( 20/02/2014 ) , patents that Apple now officially referred to as the ' Sport monitoring system for headphones , earbuds and / or headsets ' .
In the description , it is mentioned that the headphones can detect aktvitas health and fitness based on how the user moves their head .
The main feature of this invention is a sensor embedded into a specific area of headphones or earphones . When in contact with the skin , this sensor can detect heart rate , temperature , perspiration and other physical conditions . This tool will monitor and record vital limbs of the user while exercising or activity while wearing headphones .
Interestingly , this sensor will also respond to head movements to perform specific tasks . For example , while listening to music . By moving the head in one direction while the song will stop ( pause ) , moving the head in the other direction , for example will point to play another song (next track ) . Other head movements , can be used to increase or decrease the volume .
