Nokia Announce New CEO Soon, Who is He?
Jakarta - a business unit of Nokia mobile phones are in search of new CEO after the company was bought by Microsoft . According to Helsingin Sanomat newspaper from Finland , one of the most potential positions that Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri is .
Suri is rumored to soon be served as CEO of Nokia after Microsoft completed the acquisition process . According to the plan , the acquisition will be completed by the end of March 2014 .
Suri previously was CEO of the business unit networks and network infrastructure and telecommunication services Nokia Solutions and Networks ( NSN ) .
He worked for Nokia business groups since 1995 and has undergone more than 23 years of international experience .
At NSN , Suri has a track record and good performance . He managed to create NSN into a profitable enterprise in the business of network infrastructure and telecommunications services .
If correct Suri will serve as CEO of Nokia , so he replaced the role that Stephen Elop had to remove the post as President and CEO of Nokia and also resigned from the board of directors chair Nokia .
Elop will then be moved to Microsoft to become the head of the business unit .
In the meantime , the chairman of the board of directors of Nokia Risto Siilasmaa took over as interim CEO of Nokia .
Microsoft buying a business unit of Nokia mobile phones and services by 5 billion dollars and 2.2 billion dollars for a patent license . In total , then Microsoft should spend 7.2 billion U.S. dollars .
Approximately 32,000 Nokia employees planned to be transferred to Microsoft . A total of 18,300 employees of which are directly involved in the manufacture of software products and services.
Now , Nokia's business groups have to fight from the remaining three business units . The third business unit is a digital map and location services ( Nokia Here ) , technology development ( Advanced Technologies ) , as well as the network infrastructure and telecommunications services ( Nokia Solutions and Networks / NSN ) .
