Screen Producers IPhone Selling Stocks Rp 36 Trillion
Jakarta - Japan Display , a giant screen producer of smartphones and tablet computers in Japan , has just release his first stock at the Tokyo Stock Exchange . The main supplier of Apple for the iPhone and iPad is making a $ 3.2 billion fund , or about Rp 36 trillion .
As quoted by AFP on Wednesday ( 19/03/2014 ) , unfortunately the stock plunged 15 % started trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange . Its shares fell to around 769 yen ( U.S. $ 76,900 ) per sheet .
Last week , Japan Display prices initial public offering at a price of 900 yen ( U.S. $ 90,000 ) per sheet . This is the lowest point of the price range on offer , namely 900-1100 yen per sheet .
A total of 213.9 million shares will be released when the IPO . Japan Display was formed in 2012 through a merger of several companies , namely Hitachi , Toshiba and Sony LCD units are always losers .
The merger was effected to counter competition in the mobile phone and tablet screen industry with competitors from South Korea and Taiwan .
Innovation Network Corp. . of Japan , which is majority owned by the Government of Japan , holds 70 % stake in the merged company . While the three electronics giants that each hold 10 % .
One-third of Japan Display turnover comes from collaboration with Apple , while the rest of the results to the screen supply Samsung and Microsoft .
