ViaProtect, Android Applications "Anti-tapping"
Jakarta - The series of NSA intercepts news has raised concerns about privacy among the users computers . A number of services and products that promise the " anti - tapping " too much fore and try to target those who by some cause to worry spied by outsiders .
Well , an Android app called ViaProtect try to offer similar services . As reported by Phone Arena , this application works by monitoring the possibility of leakage of personal data through the mobile device by other applications .
" Mobile applications can send information to the server unencrypted abroad . Such data could be intercepted by malicious parties . Consequently , identity theft can occur , stealing money , and violation of privacy , " wrote developer ViaProtect , Via Forensics , the explanation the application .
How ViaProtect protect user data ? This application oversee all sorts of information that is sent from Android device by other applications . If there is an application sniff suspected of leaking personal data , ViaProtect will give notification to the user .
ViaProtect then will make a report on the level of data security on the device in question and tell the owner is concerned about any personal data which is sent to an outside party .
ViaProtect can be downloaded for free from the app store Google Play or directly through this link . This 2.9 MB sized applications can run on devices with Android operating system version 4.0 or later .
Perhaps the NSA method too sophisticated to be dammed by ViaProtect , but at least this application can help users to be more careful with personal data .
