China Bless Nokia Purchased Microsoft
Helsinki - Microsoft acquisition of top Nokia worth about USD 7.4 billion has been approved Chinese state regulators . The acquisition process was expected to be completed and Nokia officially became the property of Microsoft .
Nokia agreed to buy Microsoft in September 2013 . Acquisition requires regulatory approval of various regions including the EU , USA , China and some other . Because the major transactions including acquisitions and both companies operate in many countries .
Nokia itself has about 30 thousand who had disputed patent technology rivals such as Google and Samsung . Previously , Google and Samsung requested that the Chinese authorities to ensure Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia does not lead to the increasingly high cost of licensing the patent .
Both Nokia and Microsoft is trying to convince that they will not abuse its position related to a patent license . Microsoft also claims there will not be changed even though they belong to Nokia .
" We never planned to change the practice so far as we acquire Nokia's business , " said David Howard , Microsoft's Vice President for Litigation and Antitrust , quoted by Reuters on Thursday ( 10/04/2014 ) .
