Taiwan Bless Microsoft 'woo' Nokia

Jakarta - the acquisition of Nokia by Microsoft's deal is still in the process of approval by regulators and governments in various countries . So far , most countries have agreed . And Taiwan also seems to give the green light .However, to get his blessing , as quoted by Ubergizmo , Tuesday ( 03/25/2014 ) , Taiwan provide a number of requirements .

According to the FTC ( Fair Trade Commission ) of Taiwan , there are two conditions that allow the acquisition of Nokia by Microsoft approved .First , Microsoft is not allowed to raise prices post- acquisition license aimed at making OEM ( original equipment manufacturer ) to adopt more Windows Phone rather than Android .Other requirements, aimed at Nokia .

The Finnish company was asked to continue their standard patent license under the principle of FRAND (fair , reasonable , and non - discriminatory ) .Currently , there are many Android OEMs pay Microsoft licensing fees for using certain technologies owned the software giant on their Android devices . Thus , the first condition is to be prevented Microsoft uses patents from Nokia to boost the results of the acquisition price of the license .Previously Nokia and Microsoft asked for the blessing of Europe . Google , Samsung and a series of Chinese companies such as Huawei and ZTE were trying to approach the Chinese government .

They urged the Chinese government to ensure the acquisition will not impact the market monopoly by Microsoft and Nokia .Less good news came from Korea . Korea Electronics Association recently petitioned the Federal Communications Commission ( FCC ) , rejected the agreement Nokia 's acquisition by Microsoft .
The petition claims that Microsoft could use its new powers in the form of Nokia patents to dominate the market .
