Survey: Americans worried about Facebook & Google


Jakarta - giant technology companies like Facebook or Google apparently anxious residents make their home , the United States . Especially about the ability of the tech giant to collect data that is felt disrupt people's lives .

In a survey conducted by Reuters / Ipsos in the U.S. in March 2014 , the ability to recognize the location , personal communication and shopping habits of its users are the most feared people on Facebook and Google . They seem to feel too spied upon .


With billions of dollars worth of cash gigantic , soaring stock prices and hunger continue to take user data for the sake of his business , Google , Facebook and Amazon are also frequently annexed smaller technology companies and has big ambitions in online trading .


In a survey of about 5000 respondents , 51 % of whom agreed that the third company above plus Apple , Microsoft , and Twitter goes too far and too deep to expand people's lives ." We are in a stage of society where basically everything will be on - track . They have access to so much data that they can use it incorrectly in my opinion , " said Richard Armitage , one of the respondents quoted by Reuters on Monday ( 04/07/2014 ) .


There has been no official comment from the technology company regarding this survey . But they have often asserted that protect user data is a top priority and claimed not to use it carelessly .
